Week 13- Medium shrimp

Next week will mark the end of the first trimester! The doctor said the chances at this point of miscarriage are greatly diminished- which can ease the heart a bit!

Lil peanut is about 3 inches long now and the size of a medium shrimp, weighing nearly one ounce! What I think is the coolest is not only do we have fully functioning organs- but we now have FINGERPRINTS and growing fingernails and toenails.

Feeling a little puny the last few days, tired and ever so slightly nauseous sometimes; however, overall pretty good! =) Working a lot, as usual- which is tiring, but such is the life of a momma veterinarian.
