Week 19.5- First Anatomy Ultrasound

Friday 2/27/09 was our first ultrasound appointment. During this appointment, measurements of our little boys' brain, skull, kidneys, heart, heart valves and chambers, bladder, long bones, and spine were taken to make sure everything was progressing normally- thankfully, they are.
That was **the** most amazing experience ever. Watching the ultrasound probe looking at the inner chambers of our babies' heart and see the valves pumping all of his blood...my blood...our blood, was an experience that no one could possibly put into words.
To see that little foot, to see his little arms crossed in front of his face, then watch as they started to move- as if to wave hello mommy and daddy!
One of the most touching experiences of my life- and to think, this is only the beginning.
Today marks 139 days to go. Today marks the halfway point. Today marks bananna length! =)
Love you, little one. I think about you all day every day- when ya gonna kick me???!!
Mommy

You'll feel him when you least expect him.....at some quiet time.
